New Englanders will return home from the USATF Junior Olympic National Cross Country Championship with gold medals. James Donahue (FORR / Reading MA) won the 9-10 division 3000 meters in 10:44 over a field of 329 runners. Led by Samuel Toolin's silver medal, Sentinel Striders A won the 11-12 boys team title in a 33 team field.

Other top 3 finishers from the association include the Granite State Flash 11-12 boys and 7-8 girls who placed second and third, respectively, in their divisions (the Flash had 2 other 4th place finishers), and Lauren Robinson (Nashua PAL Striders) placed third of 405 in the 11-12 girls race.

Most New England clubs placed in the top half of the standings. This year's meet was the largest ever, with an increased number of teams and individuals qualifying; 444 boys ran in the age 13-14 race. Complete meet results are found at the JO Nationals Page.
