ANN ARBOR, Michigan – For the second championship in a row, predicted sunny skies did not arrive for the USATF Masters National Championships runners.

ANN ARBOR, Michigan—After four years in Florida and 3 years in Southern Cal, the Masters Half Marathon Championship alights on the shores of the Great Lakes in Ann Arbor Michigan. Celebrating its 45th running, the Ann Arbor Track Club’s Dexter-Ann Arbor Run, DXA2, will host the 2018 Masters National Half Marathon Championship. Classic favorable running weather is forecast, with temperatures rising from the upper 50’s through the mid-60’s with partly sunny skies and moderate wind. There should be some fast times on this point-to-point course from the small town of Dexter, winding along the Huron River and into the university city of Ann Arbor.
INDIANAPOLIS -- Coaches Kim Dismuke and Sandy Fowler will lead Team USATF at the IAAF U20 Championships, set for July 10-15 in Tampere, Finland. Dismuke will be the first woman to serve as head coach for a Team USATF men’s junior or senior national team.
Ryan Crouser (Boring, Oregon) broke his former shot put record at the Nike Prefontaine Classic to win USATF athlete of the week.
EUGENE, OREGON — Records and world-leads highlighted the 2018 Nike Prefontaine Classic as Ryan Crouser took home the Maria Mutola athlete of the meet award, as well as the men’s shot put title in front of 12,667 fans.
EUGENE, Oregon -- In it’s 44th year, the Nike Prefontaine Classic is set to once again be a can’t-miss track and field event. The fields are stacked with Olympians and World Champions, established veterans and young athletes looking to take down elite international athletes Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon.
EUGENE, Oregon -- Friday night’s light schedule had no shortage of exciting performances, setting up what is sure to be a spectacular Saturday afternoon at the 44th Nike Prefontaine Classic. Competition resumes at 12:40 p.m. PT and will be broadcast live on NBC and NBC Sports Gold at 1:00 p.m. PT.
Robyn Stevens (Mountain View, California) set an American women’s age 35-39 record in the 15K race walk to earn USATF Athlete of the Week.
LOS ANGELES -- On a beautiful spring evening on the campus of Occidental College distance runners took to the track at the USATF Distance Classic looking to hit a new gear as the USATF Outdoor Championships quickly approach.
