Ajee Wilson runs best 600m by an American at ISTAF; USATF Masters athletes conquer challenging road mile
INDIANAPOLIS -- Olympian Jarrion Lawson continued his strong summer, earning USATF Athlete of the Week honors following his first Diamond League meeting victory on Sunday, August 20 in Birmingham, England.
The USATF Masters Grand Prix begins its fall season this Friday evening, August 25, with the USATF Masters 1 Mile Road Championships hosted by the Michigan Mile of the HAP Crim Fitness Weekend of Races.

COLORADO SPRINGS – The United States Olympic Committee and USA Track & Field have received official notification from the International Olympic Committee that distance runner Shalane Flanagan has been upgraded to the silver medal in the 10,000-meter for the Olympic Games Beijing 2008. She received the silver medal at her home in Portland, Ore., on Monday, Aug. 21.

Burnett took five minutes off her American 50 km record to finish in 4:21:51 Sunday, breaking her own 35 km (3:00:43) and 40 km (3:27:10) pending American records along the way.
